Part-time SUMMARY Under the direction of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for the oversight of Miracle League's day to day operations, including staff/volunteer supervision, program and strategic planning, finances, fundraising, marketing and community outreach including player and volunteer recruiting.
QUALIFICATIONS Two years of leading a non-profit organization or similar administrative experience Desire for candidates with marketing and fundraising experience Passion for inclusion and helping individuals reach their full potential both on and off the baseball field The qualifications listed above are guidelines for selection purposes; alternative qualifications may be substituted if sufficient to perform the duties of the job.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees Miracle League programming Oversees all aspects of Miracle League programming, including player recruiting and registration, volunteer management, field management, scheduling, etc.
Creates and manages calendars for field preparation/maintenance, athletes and volunteers Provides financial oversight Creates and manages budget Manages fund development efforts in collaboration with the Development committee Handles deposits and transfers of funds Oversees the implementation of the Financial Policies and Procedures Ensures timely filing of taxes and tax related forms Manages other financial matters related to Miracle League not handled by the Treasurer Files and signs all legal forms for Miracle League Oversees adherence to Miracle League bylaws Oversees necessary reports such as potential Board members' conflicts of interest Files all forms related to charitable registration, license for solicitation, nonprofit corporation, and memberships Works with Board committees, assists in recruitment of Board members and succession planning Manages all Miracle League contracted or direct employees, and volunteers Fosters a positive and inclusive environment Prepares and updates all Miracle League policies.
