Effectively supervise functions required of Quality Lab deliverables.
Support all categories of administrative duties required of JRUSA Quality Management System.
Job Responsibilities Provides Work flow supervision for plant quality lab.
Provide QA/QC systems support to facility.
Duties Manage day to day prioritization of routine, in-process, stability and finished product work load.
Lead training of all new employees and maintain all training documentation via current system.
Support investigations and assist in any related CAPAs, deviations, etc.
Oversight of all laboratory chemical, equipment use and equipment calibration logs.
Assist in developing and authoring policy and procedures.
Perform trending on a routine basis and compile annual summary results for established KPI's.
Support first, second and third party audits as needed.
Maintain compliance to Food Safety Modernization Act and GFSI Food Safety Certifications:
Assist with customer complaint investigations, as needed Provide support for generation of COAs, as needed Provide support for customer sample requests Perform all other tasks, projects and duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements, Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science or related technical field, preferred.
Three years equivalent job experience in an industrial environment, preferred.
Supervisor Experience, preferred.
Experience with audits.
Strong sense of customer service and meeting customer demands.
Strong sense of detail, objectivity and accuracy.
Adept in the use of commercial database software such as SAP, document/workflow control software such as Qualtrax, and food safety/quality related software such as TraceGains.
Adept in use of MS Office, Excel, Word and Power Point.
Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed to meet business demands.
Able to communicate effectively to all levels of the Organization.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Able to perform basic business math calculations.
Certifications/Licenses 1.
HACCP Coordinator / FSMA Qualified Individual (QI) 2.
Food Defense / Food Fraud Mitigation 3.
Internal Auditing 4.
PCQI 5.
